Google is known for trying new things and adding new features to its products. Be it Search, Maps, Gmail, or Google My Business, the tech giant makes sure its users can do the things with ease. Google launched Google My Business back in 2014, and, since then, many businesses have made use of this to come online and reach more customers.
Quite recently, the search engine giant apparently has added a message button to its local updates section. You can see the presence of the message button in the “Updates” section of the Google Local panel view. Here is where you can add updates through Google Posts and keep your customers updated. The “Message” button lets your customers ask questions about your latest updates.
However, many users claim that the button is not too old, but a recent addition from Google. The company seems to have added the message button recently, and according to some users, it isn’t older than a few weeks. A user named Darcy Burk discovered this and shared it via a tweet. Some other users confirm the presence of the message button to be a recent addition.

On September 24, Amazon unveiled its newest Eero 6 series routers — Eero 6 and Eero Pro 6. As the name suggests, both the routers feature Wi-Fi 6, the latest and fastest version of Wi-Fi technology. Wi-Fi 6 delivers faster speeds and higher performance, and it provides better support for simultaneously connected devices.
The American multinational technology company had bought Eero, the mesh networking startup, last year, and it released an affordable version of the Eero mesh router. It’s just after a year that the company has introduced a new set of two mesh routers. Eero 6 and Eero Pro 6 are available for pre-order on Amazon and Eero.com and will be available for delivery later this year.
Eero 6 Routers Features
The new Eero routers offer Wi-Fi 6 coverage for 75+ devices simultaneously, claims Amazon. The company says that both Eero 6 and Eero Pro 6 work with the existing Internet service that users have, and are backward compatible with all other Eero generations. The routers also feature a built-in Zigbee smart home hub that lets the compatible devices in the network connect to Eero 6 series without requiring a separate Zigbee hub.
A single Eero Pro 6 router covers an area up to 2,000 square feet. And the same two-pack and three-pack router cover about 3,500 and 6,000 sq. ft., respectively. Similarly, the Eero 6 single router covers up to 1,500 sq. ft. Also, the two-pack Eero 6 that covers over 3,000 sq. ft. comes with an Eero 6 mesh router and the new Eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi extender. On the other hand, the three-pack Eero 6 router includes Eero 6 router plus two Eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi extenders, covering up to 5,000 sq. ft. area.
Euro 6 Series Price and Availability
As said earlier, the Eero 6 series routers are already available for pre-order on Amazon.com and Eero.com portals. The single Eero 6 router starts at $129, and the two-pack and three-pack variants will cost $199 and $279, respectively.
Talking of Eero Pro 6, the one-pack costs $229, and the two-pack combo has a price of $399. Eero Pro 6 three-pack variant will cost $599. Additionally, if you also want to have Eero Secure or Eero Secure+, they’ll cost you $2.99 per month or $9.99 per month, respectively.
The new Wi-Fi systems series will be available to customers later this year. As per the Amazon listing of the devices, the items will be available on November 2.
Xbox 360 controller is one of the most popular gaming controllers of this decade, and that is not an overstatement. It’s the simplistic design and the rugged body that has gamers hooked onto, even years after its parent console was discontinued.
A study from steam suggested that 20% of the users who have this Controller registered use it at least once a month, which is way higher than that of its successor, the Xbox One Controller, which is 14%.
Needless to say, the majority of the Xbox controller user base is made up of most avid gamers. Most of whom would like to just sit back and have a plug and play experience. This is true even while gaming on a PC.
We all know the feeling that once we have our hands set on a controller, we just wanna use that tactical edge wherever possible. However, most people don’t have a grasp on how to connect Xbox 360 controller to PC. So here is a small tutorial that will help you set up your gaming gig on your PC.
Xbox 360 Controller For PC
There are many reasons why a lot of people prefer to use the Xbox 360 controller with their PCs. While most PC gamers prefer the tools of the trade that are keyboard and mouse experience, it is fair to argue that some games just play better on a gamepad. And then add to this, the advantage it can provide in a competitive gaming scenario, and we easily have ourselves a deal-breaker.
Now whatever your reasons that you want to pair your Xbox 360 Controller to your PC, either you just have one of those lying around and don’t wanna spend money for a new one, or you just want to slay some PC gamers with the tactical edge. In this guide, we will tell you all you need to know to connect your Xbox 360 Controller to your PC. Let’s get right into it.
How to Connect Xbox 360 Controller to PC
First of all, we need to be clear what kind of Xbox 360 controller we are talking about. That is, if it is a wired controller, then the process is pretty straight forward. Just plug your controller into your PC, and the drivers will install automatically, and within no time, you will be ready to map your keys and fire up your game. But if you have a wireless Xbox 360 Controller, things get a little bit more complicated.
For once, you will have to chip in some bucks for a dongle, which is nothing but a Bluetooth adapter that will connect your PC to your Xbox 360 controller. If you happen to own a Microsoft Original Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, we recommend that you go for a Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for PC.
Now when you have all you need, let’s get your Controller and your PC paired. Follow this step-by-step guide to pair your Xbox 360 controller to your PC:
Plug the Wireless Adapter in your PC’s USB port:
If you happen to have the driver CD that came along with the receiver, run it to install the driver and move on to Step 9. If you don’t have the CD or didn’t receive it in the first place, then follow the next steps.
Step 2: From the tabs, select Downloads > then select Product Type as gaming and search Xbox.
Step 3: Select Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows, the driver for the Xbox Receiver.
Step 4: Select the version of the driver available > then select language > Click on download.
Step 5: After the download is finished, select run and follow the simple prompt steps to install all the necessary files. Finish the installation and restart the computer.
Step 6: Now press and hold the Guide button to start the Controller.
Step 7: Next up, press the Connect button on the Wireless Receiver.
Step 8: Now press and hold the connect button on your Controller. (It must be a small circular button located on its front edge). Hold this until the green light stops blinking.
If a steady light is present on the Guide button, that means your Controller is paired. Fire up a game and have fun!
Conclusion
Connecting your Xbox 360 controller is a pretty straightforward task if you know the right steps. If you read through the above guide, you will be able to connect and play endlessly. However, in case you face any issues, please don’t hesitate to tell us your problems in the comment section. We will help you out to sort all your problems.
Recently Sony held a big PlayStation 5 showcase event in which the company announced Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Not just this, the company also announced that the original Spider-Man would get a PS5 remaster with new graphical features. But unfortunately, you will have to purchase the game again as Sony is not giving it for free.
Sony corporation has confirmed that it will not allow the existing PS4 Spider-Man owners to upgrade to the new PS5 remaster for free. Thus the users will have to buy the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition to get access to the new remastered PS5 version.
How to Upgrade to PS5 Remastered Spider-Man
Sony, in a statement, said that the company currently has no plans to offer Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered as standalone. For players who have a copy of Spider-Man for PS4 and want to experience Spider-Man: Remastered, they first need to purchase the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. However, the PS4 game version will be backward compatible with PS5.
The Japanese conglomerate in a statement to Kotaku said, “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered is an enhanced version of Marvel’s Spider-Man”. It added that this version will include as part of the Ultimate Edition for the PlayStation 5. However, Sony confirmed that the PlayStation 4 owners who purchase Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version of Miles Morales for free. Next, they can download Spider-Man: Remastered as a paid upgrade for additional cost.
Upgrading Cost for PlayStation 4 Owners
If you are a PlayStation 4 user and want to experience the original remaster as part of your purchase of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sony is offering a $20 upgrade to its customers. The Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition costs $70 in total. What all this means is that currently, only players who buy the Ultimate Edition will receive the remaster upgrade. Since some PS4 owners got accidentally upgraded for free, Sony said later in a statement that it was not possible to offer the free upgrade.
Last month, on August 10, OnePlus rolled out the Final Developer Build of OxygenOS 11 for its users. It was based on the latest Android 11 update from Google. However, the developer build was only open for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro users. Also, the company rolled out the OxygenOS Open Beta 7 updates for the OnePlus 7T series during that time. Now OnePlus is one step closer to bring a stable Android 11 update for OnePlus 8 series users. It has already started rolling out its second Open Beta build, OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2, for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro phones.
It’s not yet clear what the company will bring next. But we expect that the smartphone maker will either release the Open Beta 3 build or most probably the very first stable Android 11 update for the said phones. It is because the Open Beta 1 build was quite stable, and the company has only tried to polish the things further in this second update.
Changelog: Major Fixes in OxygenOS Open Beta 2
There are quite a few optimizations and fixes in the changelog entries of the new OxygenOS Open Beta update. However, OnePlus has added a new feature in this update for the Ambient display. Talking about the new additions, the company has added an interesting ‘Canvas’ feature that automatically draws a wireframe picture based on the phone’s lock screen photo.
To view the picture, you need to go to Settings > Customisation > Wallpaper > Canvas and then choose the photo preview. Now the phone will generate it automatically, and that too, you can do it without waking up the phone display.
Speaking of other fixes and optimizations, the company has patched up several known issues from the previous build. OnePlus has fixed some ‘rarely-happening’ issues with the widgets and has optimized a few UI display elements in the Settings. There was also a bug in Google Assistant, where in some cases, it failed to wake up. The company has fixed that as well. Also, the new build fixes the issue of the HD icon on the call log interface as it did not center in some cases.
Other Fixes and The Size of Update
A major issue that occurred with the user when he entered the ‘Tips & Support’ interface — the ‘issue’ of the black screen. The company has fixed that as well. The changelog also reads that some general stability issues with the System updates are updated too.
OnePlus says that it also fixed one specific issue with the Clock app, where some numbers disappeared in the Timer section. Some power consumption issue which was there with ‘Smart 5G’ is also optimized. The total size of the OxygenOS Open Beta 2 update is 230MB. If you own a OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro phones, you should get the update soon.
Since the last week’s removal of Paytm from Google Playstore, the tussle between both the companies is still not subsiding. The Indian payments app had violated some of the policies of Playstore for gambling. The ongoing tussle has now put the focus on India’s competition laws on digital marketplaces. However, this isn’t the first time the tech giant has faced legal issues in India for one of its platforms says GamblingGuy India.
Gurshabad Grover, senior policy officer at Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), said, “For long, Google and Apple have been exercising too much control over app developers.” Quoting further, he said that the new episode shows that such things can happen anytime, with any app. The search giant’s app store has several policies that govern what types of apps can stay on Playstore. “This time, they played by the rules, but they can always make these decisions to suit their business interests,” said Grover.
Legal Troubles for Google in India
Google has also been pulled up in India before for abusing its dominance with Search in 2018. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) had even slapped a fine of ₹135.6 crore to the search giant for abusing its dominance in web search and related advertising services. The company also ran into trouble for abusing its powers for monopoly in mobile operating systems last year. Even this year, back in May, there was a case against Google Pay.
According to Grover, there is “no clear judgment” about whether the app stores like Google Playstore and App Store are intermediaries like social platforms or not. He said, “In the Fermat Education vs Sorting Hat Technologies case of 2018, Madras high court specifically said that if you are pre-screening uploaded content or if some sort of money is involved, then you are moving away from the definition of intermediary, which protects you from liability.” So, the Google, Paytm tussle may land Google in trouble again.
Grover specified the need for fixing the competition law for digital markets in India. He mentioned that the proposed amendments of 2020 to the competition law should be taken into consideration by the government. Another tech policy advisor, Prasanto K. Roy, stressed on the self-regulation of platforms like Google. He said that the company must give enough time to app developers before taking any action.

The tech giant is expanding the voice control abilities on most of its products. You can also cast the movies and shows from Disney+ mobile app to your Android TV.
More Features
You can also give your Google Home and Nest Mini a new look using a custom base accessory from OtterBox. All you need to do is clip your device into the OtterBox custom base and showcase the iconic Mickey’s ears in any room.
Another feature is that you can listen to the stories from the world of Frozen 2. You can listen to the legends on the Google Assistant-enabled iOS and Android phones, smart speakers, and Smart Display.
