Navigate Disney+ Content Using Google Assistant Voice Control on Nest Smart Displays

Disney+ is one of the top on-demand streaming services owned by The Walt Disney Company subsidiary DTCI. The experience you get here transcends generations in terms of available content. From the classic Snow White to the new live-action series The Mandalorian, the streaming service offers almost every type of content that you love. Just yesterday, Google announced that the Google Nest Smart Display users can now navigate Disney+ content using their voice. All they need to have is a Google Assistant-enabled smart display.

Google said that the users can start navigating Disney+ content on Nest devices using Google Assistant voice control from Sep 22 onwards. It will allow the users to play their favorite shows by just giving the “Hey Google……” command followed by the instruction to play a particular video.

How to Navigate Disney+ Content With Google Assistant

If you already have a Disney+ subscription, then you don’t have to do much more. Just link your account in the Google Home or Assistant app to start playing movies or shows from Disney. You can play the content from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, NatGeo, and more by just asking it to your Google Assistant.

Do you watch live-action series like The Mandalorian? Just say, “Hey Google, play the Mandalorian on Disney+” to play the series instantly. The tech giant is expanding the voice control abilities on most of its products. You can also cast the movies and shows from Disney+ mobile app to your Android TV.

You can also give your Google Home and Nest Mini a new look using a custom base accessory from OtterBox. All you need to do is clip your device into the OtterBox custom base and showcase the iconic Mickey’s ears in any room.

Another feature is that you can listen to the stories from the world of Frozen 2. You can listen to the legends on the Google Assistant-enabled iOS and Android phones, smart speakers, and Smart Display. To start playing the story, ask the Assistant to tell a Frozen Story and then pick the character you want to narrate.
