After Tesla Tequila’s Launch, It’s Bottle’s Packaging Appears Online

After Tesla Tequila's Launch, It's Bottle's Packaging Appears Online

Elon Musk company Tesla Inc launched its own premium liquor beverage called Tesla Tequila on November 5. The electric-car maker’s own brand of Tequila appeared online on Tesla website for sale at $250. Surprisingly, the product was quickly listed as “out of stock” within hours of its launch. Now, after a day following its launch, pictures of $250 Tesla Tequila’s bottle packaging have appeared online. The product listing on Tesla website had earlier revealed a sleek, lightning-shaped design of the bottle.

Pictures of the packaging of Tesla Tequila have surfaced over Twitter, which shows the packaging encasing the $250 lightning bolt-shaped bottle. Twitter user @Edgar707KiDS first shared the pictures that show the package he received after he managed to purchase the drink.

What’s Inside Tesla Tequila Package

The package consists of a commemorative box and item description. The box encases a Tesla Tequila bottle that looks like the shape of a lightning bolt, a label, and a manual that reads the proper procedure for opening the bottle’s lid. The label inside the box states, “This bottle was handcrafted by skilled glass artisans, as such, it has imperfections and markings that make each bottle unique. Please take care when handling your bottle of Tesla Tequila.”

On the other hand, the directions in the procedure clearly state to ‘pull the lid directly up and not to side’. It reads, “To remove the cap, please pull straight up carefully. Do not pull at an angle or sideways. Failure to follow these instructions could result in breakage.”

If you don’t know, Elon Musk brought the idea of Tesla Tequila on April Fools Day in 2018. He had also shared the image of the “Teslaquilla” bottle, but that was slightly different from the actual one launched recently. But now, the April Fools’ joke has turned real, and the liquor beverage is already out for people. However, the shipments are currently available to select US states only. You may check the list of these states here.

9 Best Android Data Recovery Software

9 Android Data Recovery

Nobody likes losing data no matter the reason. It could be an old photo or video of your loved ones. It could be an important document or so. There are plenty of reasons behind losing a file or files such as accidentally deleting ‘em, corrupt memory among others. A deleted file on a PC can be recovered from the Recycle Bin but your Android phone doesn’t have a recycle bin. This means once you accidentally or intentionally delete a file, it is gone. That is where Android Data Recovery Software comes into play.

These are specialized software that users can utilize to regain access to certain deleted files to a great extent. Here’s how this software work on your Android device. Here’s a curated list of 9 best Android Data Recovery Software that you can check out.

Why is Data Recovery Software required?

As said, nobody likes when they lose data. It could be anything from a single file to a trove of files and there could be millions of reasons behind the files vanishing. Some files might carry important information about you or business or something you do. Some files might have your memories as photos and videos. Similarly, some might have your documents such as a scanned copy of your passport that you would otherwise use in places where you aren’t required to carry a passport physically.

Usually, PCs are made to have a recycle bin that acts as a temporary folder before you can delete files permanently. This privilege is not available on Android unless it is photos or videos and that too on recent phones. You cannot scour the memory to find bits of data that you can bind together physically. That is where data recovery software is used to do the hard work. Most of these software have high success rates although there are certain factors that can influence it too. Running a data recovery software as soon as noticing a deleted file is crucial.

How does Android Data Recovery Software work?

Knowing how these Android data recovery software works are of utmost importance for most people. As said, Android smartphones don’t have a recycle bin where deleted files can be stored temporarily. Thus, deleting a file once means deleting it forever. But there’s a catch.

When you delete a file, it is marked as 0 and the space occupied by that file or files is made available for other files. The space remains empty until the system doesn’t overwrite it with new data. This creates a temporary path where you can get access to the deleted files until they are overwritten. But it costs time, money, and a lot of effort to recover lost data. Luckily, professional tools called data recovery software are equipped with all the machinery, mechanisms, and algorithms needed to recover data.

These tools score the storage or memory for traces of the lost data. It simply files spaces with the value ‘0’ and binds together all other spaces in a salvageable format. The chances of recovering a file are higher if you run these tools right after deleting the file in question. As time goes and the system gets more data, it overwrites it thereby the probability of recovering data reduces. Thus, it is highly recommended to run Android data recovery software as soon as you notice a lost file or files to increase the probability of recovering it.

Google Chat To Get Unthreaded Rooms Support From November 16

Google Chat To Get Unthreaded Rooms Support From November 16

Google has announced through its official blog that from November 16 onwards, Google Chat will get unthreaded rooms by default. Currently, group conversations in Google are always threaded, since the launch of the messaging service by Google. But now, the company is bringing a major change by making the rooms in Google Chat unthreaded. Last month we told you that Google Chat is going free and will replace Hangouts next year completely.

Starting November 16, Google Chat will begin rolling out the new feature for its users. But, it will also provide an option to toggle chat history on or off in unthreaded rooms. Users will see a new “Use threaded replies” option, which will let them organize the group chats into different threads. However, once a room is created, users will not be able to change thread settings. It means that if a user creates an unthreaded chat room, he won’t be able to change it to threaded.

Existing Rooms Will Have No Effect

Google has said that existing chat rooms will have no impact due to the upcoming feature arriving this month. Users will be able to use existing threaded chat rooms as usual. It will give users the flexibility to create any type of chat room — threaded or unthreaded. After November 16, Google Chat will allow users to create as many unthreaded rooms as they want.

The blog also reads that this feature will be enabled by default for admins, and they would be able to set room history settings for unthreaded rooms. On the other hand, for end-users, unthreaded rooms will now be the default. They would be able to turn on threaded replies only when they create a new chat room.

Google Chat will have a full rollout for unthreaded rooms from November 16, 2020. Though, it may take 1-3 days for ‘full’ feature visibility, says Google. Speaking of availability, the new feature will roll out for all business customers. These include Essentials, Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education, Enterprise for Education, and Nonprofits customers.

Google Meet Now Allows Meeting Organisers to Approve Knocks in Bulk

Google Meet Now Allows Meeting Organisers to Approve Knocks in Bulk

Google Meet is one of the top popular video conferencing services in the market, and it is still evolving. Last month we saw Google Meet launch breakout rooms to aid distance learning as the world now moves from physical classrooms to virtual ones. Now, Google has announced the launch of a new feature for its Meet platform that lets you approve knocks in bulk. However, this new capability will be available only to meeting organizers and not the other members. The company says this feature will help limit the interruptions during the call.

If you don’t know what “knock” or “knocking” means, then to say in simple terms, knocking refers to the process of requesting to join a meeting. In other words, “knock” is a feature that lets users ask to join Google Meet meetings. And, if the meeting organizer rejects your request, you won’t be able to request it again.

Feature Details and Availability

Google Meet users who have received the new feature will see an ‘Admit all’ button below pending join requests. This will allow them to accept all ‘join’ requests at once, thereby limiting the interruptions during the ongoing call. Also, the meeting organizers can use ‘Deny all’ to reject all knocks. This feature will be available to all business customers as well as personal accounts. However, business customers will receive the new capability on different dates depending on the type of their domains.

First, Rapid Release domains will get the new capability through a gradual rollout, and then Scheduled Release domains will have an extended rollout. Google Meet has already rolled out the new feature to Rapid Release domains starting November 4. It may take up to 15 days for users to see the new capability. On the other hand, Scheduled Release domains will start receiving the feature from November 16 in an extended rollout. It may take more than 15 days for these users to see the new feature on their accounts.

WhatsApp Beta Introduces a New Way to Verify Reported Chats, Rolls Out in a Beta Update

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that’ll help the messaging platform to verify reported chats, groups, and business accounts. The messaging service has already released the feature in a beta update for Android beta testers. As per a report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has rolled out a new beta update with version 2.20.206.3, which enables the new Report to WhatsApp feature in the app. In the previous beta update with version 2.20.206.2, we saw that WhatsApp is also working on another feature called Vacation Mode.

The new reporting feature will share a copy of recent messages with WhatsApp to verify the reported chats. It means that from now on, WhatsApp will know your latest conversation with the contact you reported. However, this feature is currently available only to beta testers with the latest version of WhatsApp Beta.

New Report Contact Feature Working

WhatsApp Beta Introduces a New Way to Verify Reported Chats, Rolls Out in a Beta Update

When you report a contact on WhatsApp, the WhatsApp backend elaborates your report considering several factors. These include things like the number of reports received from different users for that number, if the reported number is new to WhatsApp, and it has already received some reports, etc. It means that WhatsApp currently has no direct way to verify the reports report. But now, the company is working on a new way to report chats, groups, and business accounts that will enable WhatsApp to get a copy of recent messages from that chat.

“WhatsApp never receives your messages without your permission. If you decide to report a contact, you agree to forward a copy to WhatsApp of the recent messages from that chat,” said WABetaInfo in its report. With this feature, WhatsApp is introducing a new way to verify the reliability of reports from users.

WhatsApp Beta Introduces a New Way to Verify Reported Chats, Rolls Out in a Beta Update

Speaking of its availability across various devices, WhatsApp has already enabled the feature for Android beta testers through an update. For iOS beta testers, this new feature may roll out in the next few weeks, says the report. Further, we don’t know when it’ll be rolled in the official build of WhatsApp. But we expect it to come in the next updates soon.

PS5 Version of Hitman 3 Will Not Support PSVR: Only PS4 Version Will Work

PS5 Version of Hitman 3 Will Not Support PSVR: Only PS4 Version Will Work

The PlayStation 5 is likely to let down many players who own PlayStation VR headsets as they are not receiving support for the PS5 games. PS5 is not getting any new VR games for a while, and hence PSVR owners won’t be able to play the PS5 version of VR games like Hitman 3. Sony said in a statement to UploadVR that the PSVR headset would only work on the PlayStation 5 for PS4 VR games. Though, PS5 is a hundred times faster than the PS4 console but still does not support PSVR-supported games.

This is a big disappointment for PSVR owners who wanted to play VR games on the latest PS console. For them to play Hitman 3 with a PSVR headset on PS5, they’ll have to use the PS4 version of the game. It looks like they have no choice than making a big compromise.

Sony Offers Free Upgrade to PS5

Sony has confirmed in an interview with UploadVR that PSVR will not be compatible with PS5 versions of Hitman 3. This means that if players want to play Hitman 3 using PSVR, they’ll have to purchase the PS4 version of the game. “We have not announced PS5 titles for PS VR,” said the Sony spokesperson in the interview. PS5 is backward compatible with PS4 systems and hence supports the PS4 versions of the games. Based on this, it will give players the ability to play PS4 versions of games on PSVR.

Another game, No Man’s Sky, which Hello Games announced to release on the PS5 recently, did not list the support for PSVR in the PS5 version. It also has support for only the PS4 as the PSVR platform doesn’t actually support the PlayStation 5 version of the games. So, if you’re planning to buy PS5 in the coming weeks and want to try PSVR on the console, make sure you purchase PS4 versions of PSVR-supported games. The good news is that Sony will allow you to upgrade Hitman 3 and No Man’s Sky for free. To get a free PS5 upgrade of Hitman 3, you’ll first have to buy the game on PS4 digitally.
