Call of Duty: Warzone Removes All Vehicles Due to Game Breaking Glitch

Call of Duty Warzone Logo

Call of Duty: Warzone has experienced a severe glitch that prompted developers Infinity Ward to remove all vehicles from the game briefly. The glitch reportedly crashes the game’s servers when a vehicle is taken to a specific point in the map. It would cause the match to end abruptly as all the players get kicked out of the server.

In response to the glitch, Infinity Ward announced an update that will “remove all vehicles from Warzone” on all platforms. However, no timeline is set for the return of any vehicle to the game. Here is the original announcement tweet.

Infinity Ward received a lot of flak for the glitch. The bug in question didn’t provide a player any advantage but made playing the game frustrating for all players. Many accomplished players in the Warzone community had their say about the glitch without showing how to execute it. Popular YouTuber Dr. Disrespect said he actually liked the game in absence of vehicles.

More issues with Warzone

It comes after another frustrating bug in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. This earlier bug would turn a player’s weapon into a black cube. This, in turn, would make it impossible to see your opponents or enjoy the game in general.

Since its release in March 2020, Warzone has received a mixed opinion from the fanbase. The players have massively appreciated the gameplay mechanics and Warzone’s role in the lore of the Call of Duty franchise. However, long-running glitches and in-game bugs despite huge updates have disappointed the fanbase.

While the removal of vehicles will affect the gameplay, this shouldn’t be a lasting issue. With Warzone set to be a part of the upcoming title Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, these issues should be solved soon.

Bill Gates Suggests Doubts Over Tesla Semi

Electric vehicles still face doubts regarding their viability as a mainstream mode of transport. Yet, they continue to expand to a wide variety of applications and industries. But Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has his doubts about EVs in the field of heavy-duty transport vehicles.

In his blog, Gates discussed that EVs are the ideal solution for traveling short distances. But they cannot be a practical solution for replacing heavy-duty vehicles in the transport industry. This, in turn, makes innovations such as the Tesla Semi an innately flawed concept for Gates.

“The problem is that batteries are big and heavy. The more weight you’re trying to move, the more batteries you need to power the vehicle. But the more batteries you use, the more weight you add—and the more power you need. Even with big breakthroughs in battery technology, electric vehicles will probably never be a practical solution for things like 18-wheelers, cargo ships, and passenger jets. Electricity works when you need to cover short distances, but we need a different solution for heavy, long-haul vehicles.”
– Bill Gates

Bill Gate’s alternative to EVs

However, while Gates has his doubts surrounding EVs, he does see an alternative path for eco-friendly long haul travel. The Microsoft co-founder places his faith in biofuels as an alternative where EVs cannot make the cut. But he admits that the switch to biofuels is going to be a long journey. With biofuels and electrofuels still being up to 7 times more expensive than fossil fuels, more research and innovation is needed.

While Gates didn’t mention Tesla directly at any point, his remarks do suggest his doubts over the Tesla Semi as the future of long haul transport.

However, Gates’ opinion will get tested soon as Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed his plans to expand the production volume of the Tesla Semi. It indicates that the finalized build of Semi will reach or even surpass the already astonishing specs of the EV.

However, there is a possibility that POCO M2 may come with a 4GB RAM variant as well. Obviously, the phone will also have the usual connectivity features like dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi connectivity, and GPS.

As per the Flipkart listing, POCO M2 will feature a quad-camera setup. However, there is no information about the camera resolution as of now. Also, the company boasts a big battery with a capacity of 5,000mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Leaks Hit the Internet

Samsung Galaxy devices have seen several leaks during the last 24 hours. These leaks range from UI designs to battery ratings and device specifications. Here is a compilation of the most intriguing Samsung leaks in the market.

Samsung S21 battery rating released by certification party

While Samsung S20 is still a new device in the market, rumors for the next flagship model in Samsung S21 have already begun stirring. Amongst these rumors, some concrete leaks have surfaced regarding Galaxy S21 through the Chinese 3C Certification board.

These leaks were surrounding the battery size for Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+. Both devices are expected to house batteries by reputed Chinese manufacturer Ningde Amperex Technology Ltd.

The website claims that the Samsung Galaxy S21 (EB-BG991ABY) will contain a Lithium-ion battery rated at 3880 mAh. It is a slight downgrade from the 4000 mAh used for the Samsung Galaxy S20. However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 (EB-BG996ABY) will hold a battery rated at 4660 mAh, compared to the 4500 mAh used in Galaxy S20+.

Complete Samsung S20 FE specs leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is expected to hit the stores across the world in October 2020. While the official spec reveals are yet to happen, all the specifications for the Galaxy S20 FE have leaked.

Reports claiming Surface Duo-like UI for upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S

While Microsoft has been working on Surface Duo with a planned release in 2021, the tech giant expects to face stiff competition. The competition discussed here comes in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S.

Based on reports by SamMobile, rumor has it that the Galaxy Z Fold S will feature a 360-degree screen identical to the Surface Duo. This screen will allow the device to be bent both inwards and outwards. However, unlike Microsoft, Samsung will incorporate a single flexible screen in their device rather than separate panes of glass.

With more spec upgrades expected from Samsung in a quest to dominate the folding phone market, it will be interesting to see if Microsoft would gain any edge against its competitor.

Epic Games Seeks Legal Protection Against Apple’s Retaliation

The Epic Games VS Apple Inc lawsuit saga has seen new developments today. As Apple began retaliating against Epic’s app store policy breach, Epic requested the US legislature for legal immunity for the duration of the lawsuit. Further, Epic has requested that their publisher account is brought back to the app store, allowing players to download their apps.

The court has temporarily prevented Apple from blocking Epic’s publisher account as the lawsuit is still in its early stages. The order aims to prevent issues for developers using the Unreal Engine and saving Epic from excessive losses for the duration of this lawsuit.

Apple maintains its stance as being legally right for its retaliation surrounding the breach of contract. However, the tech giant has faced massive public backlash after Epic’s campaign for more freedom for developers on Apple devices.

What is Epic Games’ lawsuit?

The saga began when Epic Games allowed Fortnite players on iOS devices to make in-app purchases through its official website. It was because Apple imposes a hefty 30% fee on all in-app purchases. Usually, the developers charge this extra fee from the customers. However, Epic attempted to give players a choice by incorporating this new optional payment method.

With this move, Epic allowed players to make in-app purchases at a 20% discount while keeping the extra 10% for itself. But this was a clear violation of Apple’s app store policy. The contract that every publisher has to sign when selling their app on iOS specifies that no payment method should bypass the app store for in-app purchases.

Hence, Apple removed Fortnite from the app store, citing a breach of contract that guarded the tech giant’s interests. Epic saw this move as “anti-competitive” and “monopolistic” before opening a lawsuit against Apple in the court of law. Further, Epic has retaliated against Apple in the court of public opinion with its Apple parody-ad and #FreeFortnite campaign.

What’s next in the Epic VS Apple Saga?

Most of the general society sees Epic’s move as a way to fight back against excessive app store taxes. Some see it as a way to earn more through in-app purchases. However, when studied carefully, the lawsuit might indicate Epic’s desire to launch a mobile app store as a competitor for Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store.

This was initially reported by YouTube channel Game Theory, who went through the 60+ page long lawsuit that Epic filed against Apple. Here is the entire video which explores the lawsuit and Epic’s marketing strategy.

Apple already faces lawsuits surrounding anti-competitive practices in the USA, Europe, Japan, Russia and South Korea. Further, Epic has garnered massive support across various industries for its lawsuit. In conclusion, Apple seems doomed regarding its App Store policies. But there is no way we will see this saga end without some more twists.

If you’re playing classical music, the visualized motion resembles like flowing water, and, if there’s some exciting electronic music, the visuals are more energetic.

My Album – Sharing Memories Through Photos

Another feature called My Album is available in 2020 models of Samsung TVs, which let you upload and display photos on your TV quickly. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer Footage Leaked

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is an upcoming title in the extensive Call of Duty franchise. The initial announcement for the game took place on August 26th, 2020, with the release of its campaign trailer. The multiplayer mode for the game is going to release on September 9th.

However, the alpha footage for the popular shooter’s multiplayer mode has leaked on the internet. The leak occurred when Twitch streamer DouguisRaw accidentally streamed around 7 minutes of the unreleased game on the platform.

A four-minute clip of this stream quickly found its way to other social platforms. While Activision was quick to take down the footage from YouTube and Twitch, the leaked clips are yet present on Reddit forums. You can watch the entire four-minute clip here.

What’s hot on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War?

With the official release still days away, the leak provides some great insight into Activision’s plans for the series. The footage featured the 6v6 VIP Escort game mode. As we follow DougisRaw during the match, we get introduced to a new map located in Miami.

The five classes featuring in the clip were Pointman, Double Agent, Fire Support, Grenadier, and Stealth Ops. The weapons have five attachment slots along with a weapon level progression akin to Call of Duty Warzone.

Player loadout featured slots for a Field upgrade, lethal equipment, and tactical equipment. Another slot featured in the loadout was for ‘Wildcards’. These allow players to modify their loadout for better customization.

The two factions in this clip are CIA and DGI. These VIP Escort matches end when either side wins four rounds in total. The footage featured two such Wildcards.

The first, named ‘Perk Greed’, allowed players to use two perks per slot. The second allegedly provided double lethal and tactical grenades, being labeled ‘Danger Close’.

The multiplayer maps start with a quick cinematic cutscene, similar to how players exit a van at the start of this clip. Each game concludes with a series of clips showing the ‘Best Play’ of the match.

YouTube Adds a Create Button in Bottom Navigation Bar on Android App

YouTube Adds a Create Button in Bottom Navigation Bar on Android App

YouTube is adding a new Create button / ‘+’ icon in the bottom navigation bar on the YouTube for Android app in India. The UI change is live for many users with the YouTube app 15.30+ version. According to YouTubeIndia, the feature will roll-out completely this week for Android users in India and later on in iOS. The company has shifted and changed the position of different icons and features. It has highlighted the new Create button to make it easier for users to create videos on their mobile devices. To use the feature, you need to tap the Create icon in the middle of the bottom navigation bar and upload new videos or go live.

Changes in The YouTube App

You should know that this is not a new feature from YouTube. The Create feature already existed and was accessible through the camcorder button in the top bar on the YouTube app. YouTube has just changed the icon and shifted it’s position to the bottom navigation bar.

To accommodate the create button, the company has removed the notification button from the bottom navigation bar and has moved it to the top navigation bar. The subscription button lies now at the vacant space. And the create button holds the position of the subscription button in the middle.

Create Button is Not Available For Everyone

I couldn’t see the changes on my phone despite having the latest available version of YouTube, which is 15.35.41. Google may be enabling the feature through server-side changes, that is why some users can see the new UI, and some still have the old one. Google may be planning to create an in-app TikTok-like short video service ‘Shorts,’ which is already in rumors to launch by the end of this year.

As we already said, there is no introduction of any new feature. Since the change is only in the repositioning of buttons, you won’t be able to see changes in the core functionality of YouTube. Currently, YouTube is rolling out the UI changes in YouTube for Android in India only. However, the company says it will expand the changes globally and add the create button to iOS as well.
