MrMBB333 shared a video on his channel in which you can see a mysterious ship-like structure that most likely must be an oddly-shaped iceberg. The object is seen through Google Earth and is about 400-foot in size off the coast in Antarctica.

This discovery has sparked a wave of various conspiracy theories about the origin and purpose of the ship. Some MrMBB333 fans claim the so-called boat is there to transport the world leaders in times of global crisis. Some even claim the ‘ship’ linked to some secret Nazi base in the Arctic.

Yellow-colored dots representing the P-waves appeared first, followed by the red dots for the S-wave. How Does Android Earthquake Alerts System Work

As per Google, the device first detects the initial wave using the accelerometer present in the smartphone and then sends the signal along with its location to the earthquake detection server of Google. The server then combines information from many other phones in the area to check if an earthquake is happening.

Google compiles the data in real-time with the speed of light that is roughly the speed at which signals travel from the phone. The company currently does not use this system to send alerts but rather displays a card in the search results when a user types queries related to earthquakes. The card asks the user if he felt shaking or not.

However, Google uses the data from the ShakeAlert system from the United States Geological Survey and California to send alerts. The tech giant integrated the early warning ShakeAlert system in August this year. This system successfully sent “Earthquake nearby” notifications to the Android phones of users in Los Angeles and nearby areas to expect shaking. The alert notification also displayed the expected magnitude of the earthquake and how far the tremor was from them. After tapping the notification, it opened a card-based feed of some useful information and a map of the user’s location from the epicenter.

Just ahead of its launch at the end of this month, official-looking renders of the Google device have surfaced online. The leaks come with the device’s specifications and other features.

The new leak suggests that the Chromecast with Google TV be a highly upgraded version of the previous Chromecast. The latest renders also reveal the device’s price and its release timeline. The leaks were first published on WinFuture that shared the images of the upcoming Chromecast device along with its expected price, features, and the launch date. The launch date, however, remains the same that we had shared earlier, ie. September 30.

Sabrina Dongle Specs and Features

The latest leaked renders of the new streaming dongle suggest an HDMI port attached to it. The Chromecast device has a remote control to operate the streaming services and apps. The remote comes with a dedicated Google Assistant, YouTube, and Netflix buttons. The other buttons include navigation controls, back button, mute button, home button, and a power button to switch on/off the Chromecast with Google TV. The volume buttons lie on the right side of the remote.

According to WinFuture, Google has made the Chromecast a full-fledged streaming dongle to support all streaming services. Also, the new dongle comes with a revised Android TV interface this time. To use the device, you need to connect the new Chromecast with Google TV directly to the HDMI port of your TV. Later, you use the remote to access various services and apps on the TV. The Chromecast dongle has an oval-shaped body with an LED status indicator at the back along with a reset button too.

As per some reports, Chromecast with Google TV will be powered by Amlogic S905X2 quad-core SoC. The device will also have a 2GB RAM.

New Chromecast With Google TV Price

According to the claims of WinFuture, the new Chromecast with Google TV will cost around EUR 100 (approx. ₹8,700). However, other sources indicate the price of the device as low as $50 (around ₹3,600). Well, the exact pricing details of the Chromecast device are still unknown but, we will get to hear the official word during its launch soon.

The Greentech Festival at Kraftwerk Berlin started from 16th to 18th September this year. The renowned festival focuses on future technologies and sustainability. The same BMW car with which the i Andretti Motorsport of BMW won three races in the last Formula E Season. Not just this, they also get to see the Racing eDrive02 that the company boasts to be a highly-efficient BMW i drivetrain.

According to BMW Group, the BMW i Motorsport has an exhibition area of its own. There the brand exhibits the BMW iFE.20 and a BMW i drivetrain. It says the BMW i FE.20 within the group serves as a tech lab for the future generations electric vehicles. BMW says that the technology transfer between motor racing and production development acts as a central pillar of its i Motorsport’s involvement in Formula E.

Apart from this, there are Fanatec racing simulators at the exhibition site for the visitors to the Greentech Festival. Here, visitors can have a realistic experience of being seated at the steering wheel of actual BMW iFe.20 race car. The visitors get the realistic experience of sitting on the driving seat. Also, the virtual Formula E racetrack simulation looks very real. According to BMW, the real-looking virtual race track was used by the Formula E drivers during this COVID pandemic for ‘ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge.’

The car manufacturer boasts its simulation technology to be the most realistic and future-oriented technology. It says that the BMW Motorsport SIM Racing is a central pillar of its motorsport program along with the ‘real’ racing series.

BMW i3 Urban Suite is another highlight of the exhibition area in Berlin. BMW group wants to present a mobility experience that suits the individual needs of its passengers using this car. The company has redesigned a production BMW i3 to make this available for its passengers.

PS5 Launch: A Mess For Sony and PlayStation

PS5 is trending at number 1 on Twitter as Sony released the release date of the highly anticipated console. Scheduled to launch on November 12th, the PS5 will cost $499.99 that puts it at the same cost as Microsoft’s Xbox series X. However, the Digital Edition will cost $100 more than the Xbox series S, with a launch price of 399.99 dollars.

The November 12th PS5 launch date is applicable to the United States, South Korea, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Mexico. The rest of the world will receive the console on November 19th. The preorder was scheduled to begin on September 17th at “select retailers”.

However, possibly due to miscommunications between Sony and the retailers, the PS5 launch preorders are a complete mess. For starters, the announcement didn’t specify the date when the pre-orders launched. Gamers were clueless till an official Playstation tweet specified it to be September 17th. However, they were thrown off as people started sharing screenshots showing the PS5 being sold-out or celebrating that they managed to pre-order the console.

How the PS5 launch mess unfolded?

When the PS5 announcement ended, customers casually checking their local GameStop or Walmart were surprised to get their PS5 preorder a day earlier than the announced date. The news spread like wildfire, with preorder stocks being sold out within hours. People were quick to point out to Sony’s promise to give “plenty of advance notice” regarding preorders.

What’s more? People who found about the early release were faced with issues in the preorder process. People had to try for over an hour to get their preorders. And even if you managed to reach the checkout screen, many people noticed that their order was automatically removed from their cart.

The mess became uglier, with some retailer website being unable to handle the sudden increased demand. Target’s online store, for instance, started blocking users as the demand seemed to trigger some anti-DDoS safeguard. What’s more surprising is that Playstation hasn’t released an official statement surrounding the mess yet.
