Ubisoft, publisher of many record-breaking games in the world such as Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, Far Cry, etc. is taking a step forward to revolutionize the gaming industry. Ubisoft is going to launch the Ubisoft Connect service that will go live on October 29, 2020.
Ubisoft Connect is a new environment that merges entire Ubisoft services such as Uplay and Ubisoft Club in one place to provide one save file across all the major platforms. This means if you play a particular game on a console and then play the same game on another platform, then you can easily start playing from where you left on the other platform as the saved file of the game will be common for all the platforms.
For example- If you played Assassins Creed Valhalla on PlayStation 4 and save it and then save the progress and play the same game on, for instance, let’s say PC, you can easily do it and continue playing on PC from where you left on PlayStation 4.
Not only that, Ubisoft Connect packs many new features such as a refreshed user interface (UI), social features, in-game rewards, a leaderboard, also a dedicated newsfeed to check out friends’ activities and compare your stats with them. Ubisoft also features personalized tips and video recommendations based on your current game activity to improve your gameplay.
Moreover, by making use of this service, Ubisoft also offers over 1000 legacy Ubisoft Club rewards free to all the players.
Games Ubisoft Connect will cover
As of now, only limited games will be available for Ubisoft Connect, which is likely to expand in near future. Following are the games that will be available
The Assassins Creed series
Watch Dogs series
The Division
Division 2
For Honor
The Rainbow Six series
Far Cry, and more.
This service will be available on Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Nintendo Switch, on November 10. However, for PlayStation 5 it will be available on November 15, 2020. Google Stadia will get this service by the year-end.
Samsung Electronics launched its innovative AirDresser earlier this year globally that uses powerful air and steam to remove dust and germs. The company’s unique home innovation refreshes and sanitizes clothes without even washing them. Since then, the Samsung AirDresser has gained a lot of popularity around the world, and Samsung explains how its innovative home product does the job perfectly.
Samsung AirDresser uses a powerful air and steam jet to remove dust and germs from the clothes, refreshing and sanitizing them to provide easy and convenient garment care. One significant feature of this innovation is that it works with only minimal noise and vibration. It is so quiet that you can keep it anywhere inside the home, even in the bedroom.
How Samsung AirDresser is Delivering Comprehensive Clothing Care
“The AirDresser brings truly comprehensive clothing care to the home environment, all in a sleek, appealing package,” says Samsung. It uses powerful air and steam to relax wrinkles, remove odors, dry clothes, and more. Once you hang a garment inside the unit and initiate the cycle, the system starts doing its job automatically. The Jet Air and Air Hangers built in the system release powerful air to loosen and remove dust particles and other things. It refreshes your clothes thoroughly, removing all dust particles and odor from your clothes.
The Samsung home appliance not just refreshes your clothes with the JetAir and JetSteam features, it also offers powerful deodorization feature for your clothing. It breaks down and separate odor-causing particles from clothes, including the sweat and smoke odors. This keeps your garments fresh and odor-free without having to wash them with water. In addition to this, the AirDresser removes wrinkles from your clothes using the combined JetAir and AirHanger technology.
One of the best features that the Samsung AirDresser hosts is the smart control for ease of use. You can access various features of AirDresser through the Samsung SmartThings app, which includes Care Recipe, My Closet, and Cycle Management. These let you manage and control different things and functions of AirDresser. To read more on these, see the Samsung article that talks about these features in detail.

When it comes to transferring Messages from one iPhone to another, luckily, it’s not hard to transfer messages in iOS. Apple provides you three methods to backup which you can use to transfer your messages to a new iPhone.
You can use the iCloud backup services, make a local Mac backup or use iCloud, which places all of your texts into iCloud. These are the ways you can use, but here we are talking about both with iCloud/iTunes and without iCloud/iTunes.
To make it simpler for iPhone users to backup and transfer their things, Apple has added the integration of iCloud. By default, all Apple ID user receives a free space of 5GB on iCloud, which can later be extended by buying more storage. You can either sync all your precious data with iCloud or first take its backup and then restore it to the new phone.
How to Transfer Messages from iPhone to iPhone
Method 1: Transfer Messages using iCloud
May be the easiest method to transfer messages from iPhone to iPhone is to work Messages in iCloud. It operates quite as iCloud syncing does for other data. You upload data to your iCloud account, and then all other devices signed into the corresponding account can download messages from iCloud. Although they allow an outstanding service in migrating content from one phone to another.
Moving messages is easy between iPhones if you use iCloud. Essentially, you just need to make a backup of Messages and then place the backup onto the new phone. And it includes both standard SMS texts and iMessages. Here’s what to do. Just follow the below instructions.
Step 1: Put your old iPhone in charge and connect it to a secure Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Go to Settings > your profile> iCloud backup and turn on iCloud Backup, tick “Back Up Now” and ready for the iCloud backup to be finished.
Step 3: When you see the Apps & Data screen on your iPhone, select “Restore iPhone from iCloud Backup.”
If you should set up your iPhone, you need to go to the Settings app. Navigate to General > Reset and choose the “Erase All Content and Settings” option to reset your iPhone, by which you can fix up your iPhone and continue to the Apps & Data screen again.
Step 4: Insert your Apple ID and password. When you complete the setup process, you can see all your messages along with other files backed up in iCloud on your old iPhone displayed on your new iPhone. This indicates you have successfully transferred messages from one iPhone to another.
NOTE: This service of iCloud was introduced in iOS 11.4. When you have it enabled, then you can use iCloud’s backup service to back up messages.
Method 2: Transfer Messages using iTunes
If you need to transfer all your iMessages as well as text messages from your iPhone to any iPhone without an iCloud app, then iTunes would be the best alternative. Besides the media library, iTunes is further set to transfer all data, including texts from iPhone to iPhone. And you only need an iTunes backup for your old iPhone to begin the transferring process.
Note: Make sure that you have the newest version of iTunes. Connect your old iPhone to your computer via lightning cable >> Start the iTunes.
Step 1: Choose your iPhone when it appears in iTunes >> Select on the Back Up Now option to back up your old iPhone.
Step 2: Next, the process completes. You can see if the backup completed successfully on the Summary screen in iTunes.
Step 3: Start your new iPhone and reach to the App & Data screen > Select on Restore from iTunes Backup. If you previously set up your new device, you need to delete it first.
Step 4: Connect your new iPhone to your computer by USB cable >> Open iTunes on your computer and choose your device.
Step 5: Click on the Restore Backup option >> Select the backup that contains the messages you need to transfer.
Note: To transfer messages from iPhone to Latest iPhone 12 by iTunes, you need to make a local backup of your messages from the old iPhone and then replace your messages with the target iPhone.
Method 3: Transfer Messages without iCloud and iTunes
There is an easy way to transfer your data without iCloud or iTunes. There are many third party Mobile tools such as Mobil Trans and Ease US mobile transfer.
What if you can’t update your old phone to iOS 11.4 – maybe because it’s an older model. Or perhaps you don’t want to spend on the storage required for Messages in iCloud. In that case, you will still transfer messages.
Step 1: Connect both the iOS devices
To begin with, you can connect your new and old iDevices to the computer and start the third party desktop application. From all the given options on its home, select the “Phone Transfer” point.
Step 2: Select messages
After selecting the messages, Mobile Trans will find all the messages from the target iPhone and transfer them to your new iPhone.
Soon, just pick the type of data that you want to transfer (for instance, messages). Click on the “Start” button once you are done.
Step 3: Wait for the transfer to finish
Wait for few minutes for the transfer to complete. In the end, you will get a notification that the transfer process is complete so that you can carefully remove both phones.
Note: Make sure that both the devices stay connected until the transfer is completed.
That’s it! Now you can locate all the recently transferred messages on your new iPhone smoothly.
Other Methods
On the other hand, you can still sync your old messages – as long as you back up your old phone. Your text messages will be stored as part of the backup – either in the cloud or on your Mac or PC.
Plug your old iPhone in and also make sure to connect it with Wi-Fi.
Tap on Settings Option > Apple ID > Obtain your old iPhone. Click on it to verify that iCloud Backup is on.
You can agree on Back Up Now to force a backup. But before preparing that, you will want to review that you are backing up Messages as part of this backup.
Go to Settings >> Apple ID >> iCloud and ensure that Messages is turned on.
You can notice how big your Message back up is in Manage Storage.
Conclusion
That’s all about our example on how to transfer text messages from iPhone to iPhone. It’s obvious that you want to transfer messages from your old iPhone into your new one for the messages you thought are private or important.
With the above-listed ways, surely, you can now successfully transfer your precious messages to the latest iPhone from the old one.
Recently Google released Android Auto 5.7, an update for the Android Auto app that fixed a few things and some bugs. However, now several users are complaining that the Google Assistant is not recognizing their voice commands. Some even claim that the voice assistant launches automatically without them even doing anything. Many users using the Android Auto 5.7 have come to Google’s support forum to complain about the issue they’re facing with the latest update. But Google still isn’t able to figure out what is causing the Google Assistant to stop work.
The majority of the users claim that Google Assistant fails to recognize what the user is saying. It only listens to the “Hey Google” command and then shows the launching animation on screen as if it’s listening for voice input. The launching animation continues to stay like this, but nothing happens to the Assistant afterward.
Google Needs More Detail and Seeks Bug Reports
Google has promptly responded to the users’ complaints and has said that it is already investigating the problem. However, the company needs more information to see what exactly is happening. For this, the company has asked the users to share more logs and bug reports to help the Android Auto team figure out the cause of the problem.
Pawan, who is a member of the Android Auto Team, said, “We are currently investigating this issue. It would be great if you could send us a bug report from your phone to diagnose the root cause of the issue. We’ll send an email with the instructions on how to capture a bug report. Please reply directly to the email with your information.” Although few users are still having the issue with their voice assistant, some seem to have fixed the issue by reinstalling the app. One user in the forum says that he has fixed this issue by deleting the Android Auto app first and then reinstalling it.
Currently, there is no official fix available as of now, as the investigation is still on but, we hope the issue is fixed soon. If the problem is arising due to Android Auto, then we expect Google to release the new version in the coming days.
Google has announced the launch of its AI-driven photo printing and delivery service through Google Photos at a monthly subscription of just $6.99. The company ran its initial test in February this year, and now it is bringing the service back for use by people. People using Google Photos can have 10 photos printed and delivered at their doorstep every month for just about $7, including the shipping cost. The service will automatically send physical prints of the best photos of users upon subscription. Google Photos will start this service for its US customers this month.
Google Photos had teased the Premium Print Series service back in February this year but, now it is rolling it out across the US. However, there is no official word on when the tech giant will release its “photo print and delivery” service worldwide.
You Can Select Photos and Customize The Print
The Premium Print Series service uses machine learning and Google’s AI to automatically recommend 10 high-quality photos for printing each month. The service will be available in the coming weeks for US users. One good thing is that users can skip a month or overrule the automatic suggestions to swap in other images if they want. Once you set your 10 images, you can then choose between matte and glossy finishes or add borders to the printed images. Google also gives you an option to print out some of your photos as card-stock postcards and mail them to your family and friends.
The subscription now provides the same-day printing and pickup service at Walgreens. According to Google, users can now order 4×6, 5×7, or 8×10 size photo prints through Google Photos for same day pickup at Walgreens. This makes it easier for the customers to find a location near them as it doubles the total number of stores available for same-day prints. Google now lets you order same-day prints, canvas prints, or photo books with up to 140 pages.

Google’s newly launched Pixel 5 recently started shipping to customers and already encountered a build-quality fail.
Some owners who received the new Pixel 5 complaint about seeing a wide gap between the phone’s display and aluminum frame. The gap is most prevalent above the front camera, on the top edge near the sim slot.
This problem might not be that big of an issue, but it can severely affect the phone’s IP68 water and dust resistance. Here are some pictures highlighting the issue on Pixel 5.
The reports suggest that these defects are present in phone right out of the box. So, it does not develop over time.
Some users who complain about this to the company got their phone replaced. However, there is no assurance if those new devices will not encounter this build quality issue.
This is not the first Google Pixel device to struggle with the build-quality issue. Earlier, Google Pixel 2 XL struggled with oleophobic coating and other display-related issues. Moreover, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL had battery bloating issues.
Google is yet to comment on this issue. So, it is highly recommended to not get your hands on the newly launched Pixel 5 as of now.
NBA 2K21 players are not happy with 2K, and the game has come under fire from its fans for a valid reason. NBA 2K21 has allegedly added unskippable ads into its pre-game loading screens. As reported by Stevivor, the game has inserted unskippable video ads that play during pre-game loading screens and between matches. The worst part in NBA 2K21 is that you cannot even skip through them. The game features video ads for Oculus Quest 2 and appear on all versions of the game across all platforms, including the PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
In-game ads are usually added to free games or are seen in free-to-play titles. However, NBA 2K21 is not a free but a full-priced game. Some versions of this game may cost even up to $100, but still, it has embedded ads inside. Here is a video recorded by Stevivor that clearly shows the ad playing for the Oculus Quest 2.
NBA 2K21 Plays Ads in MyTEAM Season 2
As you can see in the video above, 2K has attached the unskippable video ad to the pre-game loading screen titled “MyTEAM Season 2, Episode 7.” The ad starts automatically on the loading screen and provides no option to skip even after the ad runs full. Stevivor says that it takes longer even on a PC that runs from an SSD drive. This thing has irritated a whole lot of players as they’re seeing ads even after paying for the game, full price.
This is not the first time the NBA 2K series has received criticism from gamers. It has already faced such backlash for its focus on monetization beyond the initial cost of the game. This unnecessary step from the 2K will likely make things worse if it does not remove these ads. Though, it is still unclear whether 2K will keep these in-game ads long-term or do something else with them.
Google is on a spree to roll out new features to its various products. Recently it added new features or did some changes to its products like Google Search and Calendar. Now, the company is introducing a bunch of new features and updating the look of Assistant-powered smart displays in a big way. Smart displays such as the Nest Hub and others will now get a new, more intuitive UI, dark mode, and the ability to see calendar events from more than one Google account. Google will start rolling out the update starting this week.
The new UI will make it easier for users to interact with the display and access the information they’re looking for. The biggest change comes with a new home screen that will provide contextual information to users depending on their habits and the time of the day. It now divides functions into a few different sections.

Google has done a significant change to the home screen of Assistant smart displays. It now divides the information into five different sections depending upon the time of the day, Media, Discover, Home Control, and Communicate. These will be accessible from tabs at the top of the screen. Depending upon the time of the day, the tab will change its title to Your Morning, Your Afternoon, or Your Evening and present various cards of information that Google finds relevant to you at that time. These may include news reports, calendar events for the day, tappable titles for playing music, and so on.
The other significant new feature is the dark mode. Assistant-enabled smart displays’ users can now activate a dark theme to make the panel easier on their eyes at night. Dark mode can also be set to change automatically depending on 5he time of the day. Besides this, the update includes another major feature that gives the ability to run multiple accounts. You can use both personal and work accounts on smart displays to manage meetings and calls in one place.

“Various games will be released in the future, and data on the APU’s behavior in each game will be collected. We have a plan to optimize the fan control based on this data.” Says Ootori.
Moreover, Sony PlayStation 5 comes with a double-sided air intake fan which is 120mm in diameter and 45mm thick. The upcoming gaming console also packs a temperature sensor inside the Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) and three temperature sensors on the mainboard to control the fan speed.
