OnePlus has also started releasing its native apps individually on the Playstore for faster updates. The company has already added a number of its OxygenOS stock apps to the Play Store in the past. The smartphone brand has now finally released the OnePlus Messages app on the official Android apps store, ie. Google Playstore. The updated OnePlus messages app comes with some new and cool features quite similar to the stock messages app on the Xiaomi phones. Essentially, the company’s main motive is to bring faster updates on its stock OxygenOS apps.
OnePlus Messages App Updated Features
The updated messages app is still under development and it is not available as a public release as of now. However, the company has posted the screenshots of the updated app, and it is inviting select users to try the app and give feedback. The Play Store release of the app comes with a couple of changes to the application UI and other features.
OnePlus has added a new button that allows the users to easily copy the one-time-passwords directly from the notification shade with a single tap. New message organization features have been added to the app that will sort the incoming messages based on a couple of categories. The default updated messaging app for OnePlus users will now show important messages like OTPs, transactions, and other promotional messages at the top. Apart from this, the new layout will also reduce the clutter of the promotional messages and organize them neatly.
New Card Format for Transactions
The newly updated Playstore release of the OnePlus Messages app has a new card format for messages displaying important information. The app will now display information, such as the transactions or booking details, in a neat card for quick glance.
The app screenshots on Playstore show the cards displaying the quick view of bank transactions and booked movie ticket information. For sure, the messaging app now has the features that’ll not just save you time but will also give you a better user experience.
