Apple iPhone 12, the upcoming 5G iPhone series was earlier said to be launched in September this year. Now several reports claim that we may have to wait a little longer than before to get a glimpse of iPhone 12. The latest reports say that it could take an extra month of delay in the launch of the iPhone series. This means that we may have to wait until late October or November to hear about the phone.
The novel coronavirus global pandemic delayed most of the product launches this year due to supply chain issues and factory shutdowns. Despite the hurdles caused by the virus, many companies brought their devices to the market. Earlier this week on Tuesday, OnePlus launched its Nord series in India. For some time, it seemed Apple would launch the iPhone 12 on time, but the latest reports are indicating that the delay is inevitable.
As per the report from MacOtakara, the 5G iPhone 12 is going to miss its expected release date of September. Many sources claim that Apple will launch the iPhone 12 LTE models in October, and the 5G models a little late in November.
iPhone 12 Expected Variants
According to the previous rumors and leaks, iPhone 12 comes with at-least four models — a 5.4-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max and iPhone 12 Pro, and an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a display size of 6.7 inches.
Expected Price
Apple iPhone 12 smartphone price is expected to begin around $649 or $699. Some leaks in the past claim that the price in India is likely to be around ₹74,900. The smartphone will come in three colors — Gold, Silver, and Space Grey.
You should note that these are just rumors and not the official details from Apple. The details, specifications, and launch dates are subject to change. Unless the official source from the company itself breaks the silence, we can just wait.

Last year, the video streaming service Netflix had launched a mobile-only subscription plan worth ₹199 for Indian users. This plan restricts the video quality to standard definition (SD) only. The company said the plan is well received by the Indian users till now. But Netflix is now testing a new monthly “Mobile+” plan worth ₹349 for users in India. This plan is much cheaper than the basic standard definition (SD) plan of ₹499 per month.
With the new plan, which is still under testing, the company is reportedly providing the benefits of the ₹699 “Standard” plan. It offers a high definition (HD) video access across various devices like PCs, Mobiles, and Tablets, in contrast to the basic ₹499 plan. It means the users can watch the videos on mobile, tablet, or a PC with the Mobile+ subscription. However, you will not be able to watch on TV or simultaneous screens at once.
Who Can Use Netflix’s New Mobile+ Plan
The upcoming ₹349 plan, or as it is named, the Mobile+ plan, is available only for select users right now. The main highlight of this new affordable plan is the support for HD streaming. It does not limit the user experience to SD or mobile-only, and you can watch on any device of your choice, except on TV. It is a great choice for individuals who don’t care for the big screen experience or don’t own a Smart TV.
In fact, India is not the first target of Netflix to test the “Mobile+” plan. As per a report from Wirtualne Media, Netflix had introduced the Mobile+ plan in Poland already in February. The only difference is that it also offered support for simultaneous viewing on multiple screens.
The plan is currently under testing in India and based on the response from the users, Netflix India will make it available permanently to the public.

The other cameras include an 8 MP ultrawide, 5MP Depth, and 2MP macro sensor. On the front, you will be greeted by a dual selfie camera. Realme plans on bringing another entrant of its C series into India, the Realme C15. The C series of smartphones from Realme is targeted towards budget buyers looking to enter today’s smartphone space. This phone launches in Indonesia on 28 July 2020, as revealed by the company’s social media handles and official website. A massive 6,000 mAh battery and 18W fast charging are going to be the main highlight for this phone.
Realme C15 Launch Dates
Realme’s social media accounts and Indonesian website stated that the Realme C15 is scheduled for launch at 1 pm local time on July 28 in Indonesia or 11:30 AM IST. The phone will be up for sale on the same day from 6 pm local time or 4:30 PM IST. No details on pricing or international availability are available from Realme yet.
Realme C15 Specifications
The teasers by Realme have only talked about its 6,000 mAh battery and 18W fast charging. We can also notice Realme teasing its quad-camera setup on the back. We see the Realme C15 to be an elder sibling to the Realme C11 which recently launched in India. Both phones sport a new but similar design language, coming with a square camera layout on the back with a waterdrop notch in the front.
The capacitive fingerprint scanner is on the back and we expect the C15 to have an HD+ display up front. There’s also going to be an ultrawide camera – a step up from the main, depth, and macro sensors we saw on the C11. For the chipset, Realme is tipped to be using a MediaTek Chipset for their phone but no official confirmations yet.
The phone will be available in two color variants as seen on their microsite – Marine Blue and Seagull Grey.
Our Thoughts
The Realme C15 can be a good step up from the recently launched C1 that launched last week in India. We are yet to see what chipset this phone releases with, and what will the pricing and availability be in the Indian market? What do you feel, comment down below if you would be interested in purchasing this device?

OnePlus Nord & Buds Expected Price
Many sources confirm that the price for OnePlus Nord will be under $500 (approx. ₹38,000). This price may sound a lot while considering the price for the OnePlus 8, which was sold for ₹41,999 in India. However, various leaks of the past suggest a starting price tag much lower. A OnePlus survey had pointed out a starting price of ₹24,999. One other leak hints that the base variant will start at ₹21,999.
OnePlus Buds will come with a 30 hours battery life. As per an Instagram post from OnePlus, the company has hinted that the earbuds are below $100 (approx ₹7,500).
OnePlus Nord Design

The front face of the phone features a hole punch cutout to accommodate the dual camera setup. On the rear side, there is a curved glass back and a quad camera setup aligned vertically. The quad camera setup is located on the top right corner. We are expecting many more details in the actual launch event at 7:30 PM today, stay tuned for the live updates.
The Moto G8 Play, an entry-level phone with a 6.2 inches screen, was launched by Motorola in October last year. Now Moto G9 Play, the probable successor of the previous Moto G8 Play has been spotted on Geekbench. The phone is still unannounced yet but the benchmarking site has showcased its key specifications. The phone is said to come with more memory than its predecessor. Though there is no official announcement from Motorola regarding the Moto G9 series launch as of yet but Geekbench hints that the company is working to launch it shortly.
Moto G9 Play Specs as per Geekbench Listing
As per the Geekbench listing, the Moto G9 Play will run on Android 10 software and powered by a Qualcomm SoC codenamed “guamp.” The processor is an octa-core processor clocked at a base frequency of 1.80GHz. By looking at the mentioned details, it is most likely to be integrated with a Snapdragon 6XX series silicon. The phone will be equipped with 4GB of RAM, which is twice what its predecessor offers.
There are no extra details about the handset at the moment but as per PhoneArena, and if history is considered an indication then the phone will sit at the bottom of the Moto G9 series. The website also predicts that it will only be sold in a few markets such as Latin America and India. The price is expected to be in the proximity of $250.
Since the company is supposedly upping the RAM count and powering the phone with a better chip, other improvements are also expected. The camera system might also get better than the 13MP + 8MP + 2MP setup on last year’s G8 Play. Similarly, the 8MP front/selfie camera might get an upgrade too. The internal storage may also increase to 64GB while the 3.5mm headphone jack will probably stay.
You should note that these are all speculations and predictions. But if the handset is announced in the coming months, we will likely get more details on this.
OnePlus has launched its newest 8 series consisting of the 8 and 8 Pro and the official sale of these phones have started in India(READ MORE HERE). If you’re looking for a OnePlus device around the Rs. 40,000 to 50,000 range, chances are that you’ll find yourself confused in the plethora of options available to you. Should you buy the newer devices from the 8 series? Should you get the 7T that is way cheaper than the bunch? Should you get the OnePlus 7T Pro or the 7 Pro and have the “Pro” bezel-less device that gives you an eyegasm? Read along as we help you clear out your doubts and get what you want.
The Rising Dilemma Created by Close-Range Pricing
All of the brand’s devices today are packed in a very tight price bracket. This can make it extremely difficult for anyone with a variable budget to choose the device for themselves. We feel it’s about time we mention the prices for all these phones below:
You can probably see now, why getting a OnePlus phone can be really tough if you’re in the market with around ₹45000 in your pocket. Since there are multiple variants of each phone available in India, we take a level standard for the phone to have at least 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for our comparison, though none of the phones in this article would give you any issues in day-to-day usage in either of their configurations.
OnePlus 8 Pro is by far the best phone ever made by the brand, and for any reason, if your budget can stretch up to ₹ 55,000, just get it without a second thought. It is THE phone to get if that’s the range you’re looking for and there’s no reason to get something else, especially in India where it’s priced quite competitively. It’s even got high value for money prospect to it. You may argue, “₹ 55000 is not a value segment!”, but considering the other brands which make phones in this segment, or even those which are priced higher, the 8 Pro offers too much at a lower price.
IP68, check. Wireless charging, check. AMAZING cameras, check. 120Hz @ QHD resolution, CHECK CHECK CHECK. If you need the best android experience in this price, the OnePlus 8 Pro gets you everything you could’ve asked for. Trust us, it deserves it.
If you need a phone with a 90Hz smooth AMOLED panel, close to Stock Android experience and great value for each penny you spend, OnePlus 7T will settle you under the 40k mark even if you go for the 8/256GB variant. It offers all of the above-mentioned features with a Snapdragon 855+ chip that’s gonna last you years. The Snapdragon 865 is a great chip, but it doesn’t offer so much over the 6-month-old Snapdragon 865 that you would notice a difference in day-to-day usage. The 7T even shipped with Android 10 out of the box, hence it should get as many updates as the latest 8 series devices. The 7T is our choice for the OnePlus phone to buy, even over the newer OnePlus 8, due to a lot of reasons, which we mention as we come to the OnePlus 8.
The OnePlus 7T gets you a flagship experience at a comparatively lower cost than the other phones in this comparison. If you don’t care about 5G(You shouldn’t either at this point in India), or getting some extra juice out of the more recent Snapdragon 865, then skip the OnePlus 8 and get the 7T.
OnePlus 8 is the Flagship Killer You Won’t Remember
Don’t get us wrong, the OnePlus 8 is a great device by itself and we do recommend having a look at it too. It’s just that the price tag doesn’t justify it’s existence when there are so many of the brand’s own devices that fair better than it. The OnePlus 8 is essentially a cleaner, more modern-looking 7T with a bumped up processor, battery and 5G. The dark clouds settle in when you notice that the 7T costs ₹10,000 less for the 8/128GB variant and comes with a telephoto camera which the OP8 exchanges to a sub-par macro camera. The 8T’s macro camera quality even fairs worse to 7T’s macro mode, which it performs with a specialised macro motor in its ultra-wide-angle lens.
The OnePlus 8 would be a great phone, but we would either recommend you to get the 8 Pro if you could extend ₹10,000 higher, or if you get the 7T which would perform almost similarly and will save you quite a hefty amount of cash. If you do not mind missing a telephoto camera, or spending a little more for a recent device, this phone is still is a great choice.
The OnePlus 7T is priced for about ₹47999 for the 256GB variant, making it an excellent choice if you want, what we believe is the most beautiful smartphone display ever! The phone bumps up a few specs over the 7 Pro, even if it mostly feels the same. It’s got slightly faster charging, a macro mode-enabled camera, Snapdragon 855+ and will get one more update than the 7 Pro as the 7T Pro shipped with Android 10 out of the box. The OnePlus 7T Pro is not essentially value for money as the 7T offers almost similar specs with a less impressive screen and slightly smaller battery, so there’s only the screen why you should be looking at this device.
The OnePlus 7T Pro is a beautiful device that gets as many updates as the brand’s latest 8 series. If you want a bezel-less, QuadHD, disturbance-free display, this is the phone to go for! If possible though, try avoiding it as it is still quite expensive, and still half a year old.
OnePlus 7 Pro for the Love of Displays and Your Pocket
It’s about a year since the 7 Pro was launched, but the phone has aged quite well! We don’t feel it even aged at all. With a QuadHD + 90Hz display, Snapdragon 855, 30W fast charging and UFS 3.0 storage, it still beats out a LARGE number of phones from other brands in its segment. The Snapdragon 855 maybe a year old, but still handles anything you throw at it. Unless you game professionally on your phone, you should be considering this as a viable option. It doesn’t lose much over the 7T Pro and costs way lesser. Just a caveat, it will receive one less major Android update as compared to the other phones here, so take that with a grain of salt.
If you want a beautiful 90Hz display experience and don’t mind losing out on the latest gen processor, this is the phone to go for. At it’s the price, it really is a compelling option if you need to have that screen!
Though we hope to have cleared out your confusion, if you still feel there’s anything left, here are our final thoughts, summed up:
1. OnePlus 7T:
The OnePlus 7T starting from just ₹34999, is a spec monster. Being a few months old, it offers the best value right now and has almost everything else that the phones below it in this list do. It’s got everything that a person would need to get through their day and the experience is smooth and fast. From a flagship processor to a high refresh rate screen and ultra-fast charging. And oh, a telephoto lens that its successor forgot to include. For the love of your wallet, get the OnePlus 7T.
2. OnePlus 8 Pro:
If you have a budget that can somehow accommodate the OnePlus 8 Pro, just close your eyes and embrace it. It is the best phone OnePlus has ever made. It doesn’t have anything negative about it compared to the other devices in this competition and offers the Best Android Experience in our view. If you need the best OnePlus phone with one of the best cameraphones in the market right now, shell some extra cash over the 8 Pro and you’ll be happy for a few years.
3. OnePlus 7 Pro:
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes in at third place for offering close to flagship experience for ₹42,999. This is almost ₹10,000 less than for what it was launched initially! If you don’t mind missing one extra Android update but want a slick phone that you can show off, the OnePlus 7 Pro is still a compelling option. But for us, we’ll give it a pass since Android updates are essential and we do value them a lot. But for the general user, who is not a tech enthusiast and just needs a great phone without much focus on software, it’s a steal deal.
4. OnePlus 8:
The OnePlus 8 comes in next in this list. Surprised after how much we bashed it all along? Well, if you don’t mind missing a telephoto camera and want an up-to-date looking phone with a hole-punch display and latest specifications, the OnePlus 8 offers all of that. In that case, we would rate it at the third place in this list but for the general user, the 7 Pro fairs in better. For the OnePlus 8, we recommend getting it only if you don’t get the highest variant, as that just doesn’t sink in well for ₹49,999 considering the prices of all the other phones here. It also lacks a lot of features that we expect OnePlus to give in this price (Read More HERE) range, so prefer skipping it or wait for the OnePlus 8T instead.
5. OnePlus 7T Pro:
It ranks in last for offering the least value for the money you spend for it. It still offers a flagship experience at a sub-50k price but it just can’t undercut its predecessor, the OnePlus 7 Pro that’s now priced ₹5,000 lesser. It does miss out on an IP rating and wireless charging, but the overall experience using it is much better than the other phones in this list, except the OnePlus 8 Pro. It sneaks in really close to that, but the 8 Pro is just better, being a newer phone and so is the OnePlus 8. More importantly, it’s quite hard to justify the price, as the 7 Pro and 7T cost much lesser than it does and offer a similar experience.

Since the launch of Hotstar in February 2015, it has become one of the most popular content streaming services. It boasts a collection of movies, TV shows, serials, and even live stream cricket and other sports events. Quite recently, the Walt Disney Company became the owner and operator of Hotstar on April 3, after the purchase of its parent company Star India last few months ago. The acquisition resulted in the change of the logo and name from “Hotstar” to “Disney+ Hotstar”. Now the Hotstar is officially Disney+ Hotstar. Here’s a guide for you to download Hotstar videos.
If you’re reading this article then you probably know Hotstar has its native Android and iOS apps also. The content streaming service can also be accessed through PC using a web browser. Since you are searching for how to download Hotstar videos and movies, you should know that like other content streaming services like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, Hotstar also allows you to download most of its content for offline viewing. However, the content is downloadable through its native apps only.
Limitations of Using Official Method
As said already, Hotstar officially allows you to download some movies and other content but there are many limitations. You cannot download all content on Hotstar, like live streams as an example. Also, you cannot play the downloaded videos outside of the Hotstar app, neither can you share or send the downloaded content to other devices.
How to Download Hotstar Videos – Multiple Methods
There are several methods to download the content from Hotstar including movies, TV Shows, and live streams. The methods that you shall be learning in this article include both official methods, and non-official or unofficial methods. The working methods being explained here are:
Official Hotstar Mobile Application for Android and iOS
Hotstar Video Downloader, a third-party online tool.
HotstarLiveStreamer program for Windows, using command prompt.
Acethinker Video Downloader
Using Videoder
Using these methods, you can save the videos on your device and can watch it anytime and anywhere you want to. You can even transfer the downloaded videos from one device to another.
NOTE:As mentioned earlier, these methods include both official and unofficial methods to download Hotstar videos, you need to know that downloading and redistributing copyrighted content is illegal and may invite legal action. We at AndroidFist don’t encourage/endorse you to do so and bear no responsibility for the consequences of your actions.
1. How to Download Hotstar Videos on Mobile Using Hotstar App
This method is the first, official, recommended, and the most efficient method to download Hotstar videos. This method requires an official native app of Hotstar for Android or iOS, depending upon the mobile device you’re using. If you don’t have the Hotstar application, download and install it from Google Playstore or Apple Appstore.
Follow the steps to download:
Ensure you have a good and working internet connection.
Open the Hotstar application on your smartphone and search for your favorite movie or whatever you want to download.
Choose the appropriate video you’re looking for. Locate the Download option at the bottom of the video description.
Now tap on the download button and select the video quality you want.
The downloading process begins automatically once you select the video quality. You’ll receive a notification once the download is complete.
You can now watch the downloaded video offline anytime. The only downsides are that only the Hotstar app can playback the video and the video cannot be shared/transferred to other devices. For most users, this method is sufficient as you may just want to watch the content offline.
2. Using Hotstar Downloader
The Hotstar Downloader is a web app designed by some third-party to download Hotstar videos for free. Since this tool is actually a website, it can be used on any PC, with any Windows, Mac OS, or Linux using a web browser. It can also download any type of video including live streams and hence, overcomes all the limitations of the official method of downloading via Hotstar app.
Just note that this method requires you to Allow CORS browser extension for its proper functioning.
Follow the steps:
Add and install Allow CORS extension on either Chrome or the Firefox browser.
Once added successfully, turn it on by clicking on it.
Open the Hotstar website on your PC, log in, and find the video you intend to download.
Play the video and copy its URL from the address bar.
Open the Hotstar downloader and paste the copied link in the input box given there and hit Enter.
Next, choose the quality of the video and click the “Download” button.
