Last month, Huami unveiled Amazfit Pop — the company’s new smartwatch — in China. The watch has a square-shaped design and carries various health tracking features. But now, its pro version, the Amazfit Pop Pro is all set to launch in China on December 1, says the teaser that Huami has released on Weibo. The teaser poster confirms the arrival of the new smartwatch next month and teases ‘key’ specifications and the design of the wearable. Here’s what the upcoming smart device will feature and look like.
Amazfit Pop Pro Design and Key Specs, Features
Huami shared the teaser poster of the Amazfit Pop Pro smartwatch through a post from its official Weibo account. The poster teases the wearable’s design and features along with its launch date. It’s worth noting that the Amazfit Pop Pro looks quite similar to the previous Amazfit Pop smartwatch that sports a square dial with a color touchscreen display. The teased specifications and features reveal that the device will come with inbuilt GPS and offer NFC support. Apart from this, the teaser poster also suggests that the upcoming smartwatch will weigh only 31 grams.
The Amazfit Pop Pro smartwatch comes with several health monitoring features for its users. These include a PAI ( Personal Activity Intelligence) index calculation to help users assess their overall health. Also, the teaser poster confirms that the device will have a microphone onboard for voice commands. Additionally, the Amazfit Pop Pro will feature a 1.43-inch OLED display and various modes. There are over 60 sports modes that users can choose from, including walking, running, and cycling. Similarly, the poster also teases that the smartwatch will have a 24×7 heart rate monitoring support.
Note that there are no details about the pricing of the Pop Pro yet, but it is expected to be slightly higher than the last month’s Amazfit Pop smartwatch, ie., 349 Yuan (approx. ₹3,900). Also, there is no information on whether the wearable will be made available outside China, including India.
