There are plenty of cutaway scenes that you can refer to as an extension of its extensive story. Play the multiplayer campaign mode and it is a turn-based game with factions taking turns in battles. The successor to Rome, Rome 2 is still considered as one of the top five any player you would ask. The game did have a turbulent launch although, a vast portion of it was fixed in the later upgrades. The game offers an overhauled naval combat campaign in stunning 3D graphics. Choose one of the nine playable factions/regions, choose what DLC you want because Rome 2 offers a plentiful. It has an improved engine that many other Total War games use that gives it much-needed credibility. The game does have a few bugs to be fixed but it is certainly something you should play for sure.
