Shenzhen based smartphone manufacturer Tecno is going to release the new gaming smartphone POVA in India on December 4, 2020, as per the industrial sources.

Techno POVA is going to be a mid-range smartphone that comes in three color options of Magic Blu, Speed Purple, and Dazzle Black.
It also comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The upcoming smartphone also comes with a 6.8-inch dot-in display having a resolution of 720×1640 pixels.
Talking about the optics, the smartphone features a 13megapixels primary shooter, 2megapixels depth sensor, and 2megapixels macro lens along with an AI HD lens with a quad flash. For selfies and video calls, it sports an 8megapixels shooter with a dual flash.
As far as the performance is concerned, the upcoming smartphone comes with a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. From the processor, we can perceive that this smartphone’s focus will be on gaming.
Moreover, the upcoming smartphone packs a powerful 6000mAh battery with an 18W dual IC flash charger. The smartphone will run on Tecno’s own Android 10 based HiOS7.
Price and availability
The smartphone will be released on December 4, 2020, as per the reports. In addition to that, the smartphone is priced at P6,999 (approx Rs. 10,700) in the Philippines. However, the price of an Indian unit might vary.
Unfortunately, Tecno wasn’t able to perform well in Indian market because of other strong cometitors that provide better price to performance ratio. This smartphone however might give competiton to other mid-range competitors because of a good gaming processor. But we’ll know about it when the smartphone will official release in India. At this point, the price of the smartphone will decide its fate. However, not only processor but the cameras as well as display and user experience also plays an integral role in deciding how the smartphone will do in Indian amrket.
