Samsung launched a new smartphone called Galaxy A21s on Friday in London. The mid-range smartphone comes with Samsung’s Infinity-O display, quad-camera set-up at the back, 5G support, and a big 5,000mAh battery. Dolby Atmos powers the audio system of this smartphone. The phone will be first available in the UK only. But we currently don’t know when will it be available in other parts of the world.
The company, through a press release, said that the phone offers “must-have features at an affordable price.” The statement said, “From 5G to best-in-class display, we are committed to bringing innovation to our Galaxy A Series portfolio”.
Samsung Galaxy A21s Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A21s features a 20:9 aspect ratio, 6.5-inch HD+ (720X1600 pixels) Infinity-O Display. An octa-core processor, with two quad cores clocked at 2.0GHz each, powers the smartphone with high performance. The phone aaaahad 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. There is an option to expand the inbuilt storage up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The phone comes with quad cameras at the back which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. This is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. The front camera consists of a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy A21s also comes with a LED flash and a rear fingerprint scanner. The phone supports 15W fast charging while having a 5,000mAh battery.
Price, Sale, and Availability
Samsung Galaxy A21s will initially go on sale in the United Kingdom, starting June 19. The prices for the Black, White, and Blue variants start from £179.00 (roughly equivalent to ₹16,500). With the Galaxy A21s, you also get six months of free Spotify Premium subscription as an offer from the company.
The availability of the smartphone for other places in the world is unknown so far, including India.
