OPPO debuted its latest flagship smartphone — the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G — alongside the Reno 5 5G in China last month. Now, OPPO company has launched its latest flagship in India on Monday. The 5G-capable smartphone comes with a hole-punch display design and quad rear cameras along with 65W fast charging. Reno 5 Pro 5G is the successor of the company’s Oppo Reno 4 Pro that OPPO had launched in India in July last year. Alongside the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, the company has also launched the Oppo Enco X TWS earbuds in the Indian market.
Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G Specs, Features
OPPO’s latest flagship phone, the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G comes with dual-SIM (Nano) support and runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. The handset features a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The hole-punch cutout in the phone screen houses a 32-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling. On the back, the device carries a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
Under the hood, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G houses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC, coupled with 8GB and 12GB RAM options. Further, there are two storage options — a 128GB variant and a 256GB model. Also, the smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port for data connectivity and charging. Apart from this, there is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G Price in India, Availability
In India, the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G price has been set at ₹35,990 for the 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage variant and it will be available in two color options — Astral Blue and Starry Black. Further, it will be available for purchase through Oppo India e-store, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, other retailers such as Big C, Croma, and Sangeetha, starting January 22.
