The iPhone 12 series is one of the most eagerly awaited smartphones of the year. This iPhone 12 family is rumored to get four new phones this year in some leaks in the past. The phones were said to be launched later this year in the past leaks but one new leak regarding the iPhone 12 series has come. The new leak claims to reveal all the display specifications of these phones, including resolution and display types.
According to Ross Young, the founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants published a post on his company website that reveals the display resolutions of upcoming phones. The iPhones will come in a variety of display sizes and specifications of each phone are leaked. The post also reveals that the iPhone 12 lineup consists of four phones. The first one is the base iPhone 12, and the next one is termed iPhone 12 Max. The other two are named iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
iPhone 12 Display Specs
The basic iPhone 12 is reportedly claimed to get a 5.4-inch display. The panel will consist of Samsung’s OLED and will support Y-OCTA technology that allows the touch sensor to be integrated into the display. The display will run at a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and pixel density of 475ppi.
iPhone 12 Max
iPhone 12 Max claims a bigger display in the leaks with a 6.1-inch panel. However, the display would be either from BOE or LG but with the same OLED technology. Contrarily, it features an add-on touch sensor and 2532 x 1170 pixels resolution.
iPhone 12 Pro
The leak reveals important information about display specs of the iPhone 12 Pro. It is said the display will be a flexible OLED screen from Samsung. It will also come with Y-OCTA integrated touch. The display comes with an exceptional 10-bit color support and could be the world’s first 10-bit one on a phone. It will support a resolution of 2532 x 1170 and expect a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
iPhone 12 Pro Max
The iPhone 12 Pro Max in the leak is claimed to feature a big 6.7-inch flexible OLED display from Samsung. The screen resolution will be 2778 x 1824 pixels, and like iPhone 12 Pro, it will also feature 10-bit color support, Y-OCTA integrated touch sensor and XDR.
